Rose Kleier

On the morning of August 6, 2015, Rae passed away peacefully, in the care of Hospice of Palm Beach County, while being comforted by family. She was 91 years old. Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 5, 1924, she was proud of her roots, never letting those she met forget where she came from. Rae was the daughter of Sol and Mary Kalishman. She married her one and only love, Harold and raised two loving sons, Lance and Stephen. Her and Harold moved from Long Island NY to Royal Palm Beach in the 1980's. Predeceased by her son Stephen, of Boston, Massachusetts, her Husband Harold, and her Sister, Ellen Zimmerman, of Lauderhill, Florida, Rae became quite the "Independent Woman".

Rae moved to Golden Lakes Village in West Palm Beach, Florida. She spent most of her days with friends and family. (Except during the week from 1-2pm when her "Story", Days of our Lives, was on.) She enjoyed playing cards with the "Girls" and Tuesday night BINGO. She was an extraordinary woman who had the ability to appreciate the little things in life, always having a smile on her face. Rae would say the funniest things, never meaning to be funny. She had a heart of gold and loved her family more then anything else in the world.

Rae Kleier is survived by her son, Lance Kleier and his wife, Laurie of Odenton, Maryland, Grandson Michael Kleier and his wife, Noelle of Windermere, Florida, and her granddaughter Jennifer Kleier and partner Traci Moore of Wellington, Florida. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Reed, Saylor and Morgan Kleier and Brock and Remy McLean. Someone else who "Mamala" held close to her heart, was her devoted friend, Patricia Gasperini.

A service will be held at Star of David Cemetery in West Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at noon.

A woman of true beauty, Rae Kleier, will be remembered for her love of life, her generosity and her devotion to family and friends. But mostly, she will be remembered for her infectious laugh and putting smiles on the faces of everyone that she had ever met.
