I miss my baby cousin. We went to yankee games and almost every Saturday went from Brooklyn to the Bronx to see Sandy and my other cousins. I brought over my clarinet and Sandy played the cello. Rest in peace my cousin

I was so shocked and saddened to see this.  Sandy and I touched base two or three times in the last few decades, but this hit hard.  We went through JHS 80, Bronx Science, and numerous basketball courts together,  and stayed in touch some years after.   Sandy liked everyone and everyone liked Sandy.   We were a small group in Co-op City that did so much together.  He was half our backcourt and main ball handler.   So sorry he went before his time.

Sandy and I were in every class together from kindergarten with Mrs. Crane at PS 80 in the Bronx through 9th grade and we went to high school together. We were great friends for so many years and I have so many great memories of playing ball with him, as well as doing so many school projects together. We also played ball together after our college graduations, but lost touch a few years later. This past February a mutual friend put us together, and Sandy and I and our spouses met for breakfast after many years, and we reconnected as if we were back in elementary school, and made plans to golf to next time I was in Florida. Sadly, this will never happen. Beth and family, my condolences on the passing of a great person, who was a special husband, father and friend. He will be truly missed by so many.

Dr Goldstein was my dentist for over 35 years. I started out with him when I was a young mom and his gentle manner and kindness always made the experience so much better. Over the years we have an excellent rapport and friendship. My teeth are in excellent shape because of his expertise.  I will always think fondly of him and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and extended friends and coworkers.

I am very lucky to have had a friend like Sandy. 

We met over 30 years ago through our love of tennis, and little did we know at the time that we would become best friends. Throughout the years, we spoke every other day and would always confide in each other.  I'll truly miss those phone calls.

I am so thankful I had the chance to visit Sandy a few weeks ago, as we shared many laughs together. I'll always cherish those memories. 

Sandy was my best friend, and I will miss him so much. I am devastated by his loss. 

Sandy, we were truly like brothers and counted on each other. You will always be remembered.

From clay fights in 7th grade ceramics to rooting for my Giants to win 2 Super Bowls and all the love, friendship, family nights (fights?),bris, bar mitzvahs, weddings, and tears in between, I could always count on my “younger” brother to be by my side. There are no words…only memories. RIP Sand.
