Alejos Gonzales, 88 of Deer Park, TX, passed away August 9, 2018. He was born in Kennedy, TX on July 17, 1930 to Daniel and Paula Gonzales. He was married to Viola Gonzales for 62 years. He served 8 honorable years in the United States Army and achieved the rank of Corporal E-4. A proud Korean War Veteran. Alejos had a career in truck driving for the city of Pasadena. He was a member of American Legion – Post 521 and had a passion for playing cards, dominoes, and crossword puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Louis Gonzales; 7 brothers, Daniel, Juan, Chema, Wenceslao, Ramond, Jose and Anastacio; sister, Dominga. He is survived by his wife, Viola Gonzales; 6 daughters, Alberta Sanchez, Linda Jiminez, Alice Galan, Rita Lopez, Sandra Garcia and Margaret Deleon; 4 sons, Alex Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Robert Gonzales and Albert Gonzales; 37 grandkids; 78 great grandkids; 7 great great grandkids; sister, Cruz Lozano; brothers, Lupe Gonzales and George Garcia.
