Ann Carol Williams

Ann Williams, beloved wife, mother, Granny, and friend passed into eternal love and glory on October 5, 2022. Ann was born in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1935. In her youth, she had a sing-a-long radio program titled, Melodies by Ann. In 1957, she married the love of her life, Jim Williams, and together, they started their family. They moved to Pasadena, Texas where Ann raised their boys, worked as activities director at Faith Memorial Nursing home, and worked as the senior citizens supportive services manager at the Madison Jobe Senior Center. Ann also had a big heart for volunteering within the community.

Ann’s primary passions in life were loving and praising Jesus, loving and caring for her family, and helping others, especially senior citizens. Ann and Jim were very active members in their church, Golden Acres Baptist Church of Pasadena, where Ann sang in the choir. Ann loved to sing, and with her husband, Jim, she was a lifetime member of the Pasadena Little Theatre. She loved taking care of her family, especially her grand kids, making every one of their events a priority in her life. She also loved spending time in her garden, specifically tending to her roses.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Williams and daughter Lisa, and is survived by her sister Sharon and husband, Donn Harris, brother Rob Riley and wife Lois, sister-in-law Pat Meeks, her sons and their wives, Howard and Eileen Williams, Andy and Jackie Williams, Phil and Robin Williams; and her grandchildren, Adam Williams, John and Jamie Williams, Matthew and Miranda Williams, Mason Williams, Max Williams, Carly and Jacob Rone, Brad Murray, and Brandon and Jocelyn Murray, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ann was a loving and generous woman known for her perpetual smile, unshakeable faith, and her kind heart. She was intensely loved by those closest to her, and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

In celebration of Ann’s life, a visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena, TX on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 10:00 am, followed immediately by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

A visitation for Ann will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A graveside service will occur Monday, October 10, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 10, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
