Anna was a dear co-worker and special friend. Anna would always brighten our day with her warm smile, humor, kindness and support. Anna’s kind spirit, caring heart, and loving nature will forever be remembered by her family and friends.

I got to know Anna from our annual quilt retreat near Waco.  She was a joy to be around, and we will miss her bright smile and personality. 
Our love and prayers are with all of her special extended family. 


Anna was a wonderful person and a diligent co-worker, positive, upbeat and nice to be around.  She will be remembered! My condolence to the family.

I can only remember Anna being in my life. Anna grew uo in Houston down the street from me. As far back as I can remember, I see her in my life as a friend.  Anna and her family were always part of my life and she was always excited when my dad came around. My dad would always tell me when he saw her over the years. I can only think that she is in Heaven having a whale of a time. Love to you Anna.

My friendship with Anna began in Junior High and continued through High School, graduating together in 1968. We shared an apartment together until my wedding with Anna as my bridesmaid. Anna was a faithful friend, kind and loving. I shall dearly miss her. May she now Rest In Peace with Our Lord. 

Anna was a wonderful person I had the pleasure of working with.  She was a wonderful and caring person.  I just remember he sweet soft voice when she talked.  She will be dearly missed.  My condolences to the family.   May she Rest In Peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Anna from time to time for over 40 years in HL&P’s IT department.  She was always a “straight shooter”.  She told me the truth about whatever we were discussing.  She expected quality work and wouldn’t accept less.  But she handled problems and issues with “humanity”.  I always considered her a friend.

Just shy of 50 years ago, I met Anna when I started work at HL&P. Over the years, we worked together in many capacities. 
We were friends and traveled together several times. She was a great friend. I miss her.


I met Anna in 1973 when I went to work for HL&P in the keypunch area. Anna was such a beam of light. Everyone was drawn to Anna for her smile, wit, laughter,  and love.  Anna is the sister I never had. You are truly missed, Sis. 

Anna and I met when we were like 6 years old. She being 6 months older than me made her the boss LOL. She will always be that one special friend.  We always remembered to call each other on our birthdays. She actually saved my life on my birthday in 1969. I will always carry your memory in my heart. 

Anna, I was blessed to have you as a friend.   Your kind heart and loving nature were always evident.

Anna and I worked together for years.  She was truly a great person who loved her friends and family.  Sad she didn't get to enjoy her retirement to the fullest.  Sending my condolences and prayers to the family.  I know she will be truly missed.  RIP Anna you fought as hard as you could.❤🙏😇

Anna worked in CNP's IT dept.  In a unusual coincidence, 3 other IT employees all were born im 1950 in the same week as Anna, who was oldest (barely).  We celebrated in person or virtually every year. 
 She enjoyed ribbing us about being more mature.  Anna will be sorely missed.  

I’ll miss the August birthday celebrations that Anna, Bob  and I shared. We would never agree on who was the oldest (lol). I now know that Anna was 2 days older than me but Bob will never admit that he is older than both of us. 😂😂

Anna was one of my first Leaders when I started my career with HL&P in 1974. Over the years,  we would reminisce when we saw each other and always ended with us saying ‘take care so we can retire.’  Sweet Rest to you Anna and may GOD comfort your family. 

Anna was a wonderful  peer and a friend during our years together.  I admired her honesty and integrity.  She had no problem speaking truth to power.   And I saw how she wrap her arms around her family, especially after she retired.  May she Rest In Peace in the loving arms of our creator.  In Christ name Amen.  

One of my first IT support was Anna-way back in the day!  She was great to work with and had such a great personality.  I like many others will miss her dearly.  Sending hugs and prayers to all Anna's friends and family.

Anna, you will truly be missed.  Your humor, kindness, and genuine love for others is what I treasured about you.   You loved people and it showed.   But, you were not a pushover, you definitely shot straight and was always honest and fair in your dealings.   

My fondest memories are Anna’s smile, she lit up others when she directed it towards you.  My favorite Anna saying was, “You know I am older than dirt.”  

Anna was passionate about her family.  I had a special place in her heart for all of them.  Anna was kind and loving.  Anna was a good friend.  Anna always told you what you needed to hear, whether it was really what you did want to hear.  Anna will be sorely missed.  Anna will be watching over Ethan and Destiny along with the rest of her family and friends.

May God comfort Anna's family and friends at this time. 

Anna had a vivacious, strong and beautiful personality. Her smile and caring heart made everyone feel at home and was always looking to make someone laugh! She left a lasting legacy of commitment to family, friends and respect for all. Forever in our hearts, always an inspiration.

Anna was a trusted friend and advisor.  Wonderful to work with and a friend to all. I did not realize that just seven years apart we were both from Pampa, Texas.  She always provided support and wonderful suggestions on how to be a better person and a CNP manager.  She will be missed!!!!

Anna always made our CNP Quarterly Retiree Luncheons Special.  She is considered a charter member of the group even though CNP wouldn’t let her go until a few months later than the remainder of the Charter Group.

Anna was a great friend and co-worker at HL&P and later at Tietronix.  She had a very practical view of life and we shared many stories during our time together.  She helped me through some of my most difficult times and I will  always remember her.  Rest in peace Anna. 

Sending my condolences & prayers to Anna's family. Anna was a comical co-worker with a lot of "snappy comebacks". Lots of memories as co-workers at HL&P, Reliant Energy, and CenterPoint Energy. RIP Anna!
