

Annie M. Rose, 95, of La Porte, Texas, passed away November 22, 2018. She was born in Blanket, Texas on December 30, 1922 to Charles Edward and Alma Ellen Thompson. She was married to Lloyd D. Rose for 60 wonderful years.
Annie had a career in PSI Aircraft Assembly for North American Aviation during World War II. She took pride in her trade and relished in the aftermath of her achievements. When the battle was over, Annie grasped the profession of homemaker which she also took pleasure in overseeing her household and all that entails the family unit. Annie was very involved with the Norman L. Malone Senior Center, where she played bingo and a number of events with whom she felt was her second family. She had a passion for helping others, not just individuals, but also cats and birds. Annie was a person of faith who lived life serving others. She was also a member of Bayshore Baptist Church.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Annie was her husband, Lloyd D. Rose; parents, Charles and Alma Thompson, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Loved ones that will miss Annie until they meet again are sister, Sarah Thompson of Brownwood, TX; many nieces and nephews including Charlene Cain, Brenda Grissom, Sharon Roberts, Robert Kowis, Frances Baggett, Roger Kowis, Nancy Austin, Danny Riggs, Patsy McLemore, Dessa Thomas, Charles Riggs, Dean Christenson, Laura Davison, and Bob and Tammy Rose.
Annie was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was loved, is missed and will always be cherished.
