Antonia Balderaz, 82, of Pasadena, Texas passed away November 1, 2019 with her beloved children and family by her side. She was born in Yorktown, Texas to Felix and Paula Munoz on September 2, 1937. Along with her parents, Antonia was preceded in death by her loving husband Leonel Balderaz whom she just recently lost in 2018. Her broken heart couldn't wait to reunite with the love of her life of more than 50 years. She also reunited with her grandchildren Victoria Castillo Benitez and Rolando Ramirez who also preceded her death in 2014 and 2015.

Mrs. Balderaz is survived by her seven children Diane Heil and spouse Brian Heil, Leo Balderaz Jr. and spouse Letty Balderaz, Melinda Gonzalez and spouse Javier Gonzalez, Michelle Garcia and spouse Armando Garcia, Lori Castillo and spouse Victor Castillo, Marissa Salazar and spouse John Salazar, Christy Velasquez and spouse Gabriel Velasquez. She is also survived by 19 grandkids, 17 great grandkids and one fur baby which was her companion Nikita Lynn.

Antonia was a proud home-maker who always made sure her children and husband were the center of her world. She loved to sew, play crossword puzzles, loved to dance, plant beautiful flowers in her garden, and what brought great joy to her life was watching her grandchildren play the sport they loved. On her sickest days, she would still find the strength and energy to go cheer them on at their sporting events. Nothing would stop her from being their biggest fan. Mrs. Balderaz also had a special calling from the Lord. She was a faithful prayer warrior for anyone who needed it. You would find her at hospitals or homes praying over sick babies and people who were needing her prayer and healing. She used this gift the Lord gave her so delicately and with such honor.

She proudly served and volunteered at Lakewood church with our father every single Sunday for approximately 10 years. It gave her such joy to wear her name badge and honor the Lord in his home. Special thank you to Dodie Osteen for continuously praying with our Mother during her final days in the hospital and comforting the Balderaz family during the mourning of both parents.

The Balderaz family have so many people to thank because without you all, this journey would have been much more difficult. To the entire 7th floor medical staff including the ICU unit and chaplain-THANK YOU. Without you all, we wouldn't have had the strength and courage to release our Mother to our Heavenly Father.

Thank you from the depth of my heart ❤️ for sharing your beautiful mother’s life especially, during one of the most critical times in your families’ lives. For me personally, it only took a few minutes with a few words of laughter and joy in getting to know her in a close personal manner in order to experience something quite spiritually unique. Words can be powerful, painful, or inspirational, and sometimes..., all three at the same time. This was my experience with her. May you all continue living and carrying out her sweet teachings and words of wisdom.

My condolences to all the family, I pray for strength and comfort during this difficult time. I will always remember Mrs. Balderaz praying over us and the Texans bus before we left out of town on our road trips. I know the Balderaz family through Leo, when me and my family were going through the same difficult time with my mom, with no question, he was there for me and my family. I can see that Mrs. Balderaz instilled strength, love, faith and compassion in all her children and it shows. She had the most beautiful smile. My heart is heavy for you all.. may she rest in paradise with her true love.

It was a privilege to meet Toni at our family reunion and the rest of the gang. I could tell that they were a very close family and I was proud to call them my cousins. My heart goes out to each and everyone of you and may God bring you peace. Love you all.

The family that prays together stays together....due to my work schedule I used to record my church services to watch later. Awesome surprise to see Aunt Toni sitting there on my TV 😃

I have so many memories with this special lady. She would give so many encouragement on anything I would ask her about. She would pray with me and tell me that she love me like one her own. We would take our trips to the stores and would get calls cause we take to long and she would laugh cause I would tell her mama we got go before they send the popo for us. I will miss you so much Mama!! Love you from moon and back.
