Thinking of you and your family always. We see the kids sometimes across the street.  They are getting so big Ashley and are so precious. I enjoy visiting with your family when we see each other outside. It melts our hearts to see your little girl interact with Victory. You are never forgotten.  I pray you are with everyone in spirit.

Thoughts and prayers for your family. It has almost been 1 year.  I think about this time last year what your family was enduring.....

In a few more days it will have been 1 year since you left.. We think of your family daily and it is so difficult to watch them as I know their hearts hurt so bad. Having lost grandma on April 6th this year, that pain of losing someone you love and adore so much, I believe is the worst feeling someone ever goes through. My dearest Ashley, I am sitting here thinking of you, as the days linger on  missing you dearly. I remember you knew everything growing up. I can honestly say I never heard you say “I don't know” when someone asked you a question. I said many times you should have been in politics. It really didn't matter how old you were, you always had something to say. Without hesitation you gave your opinion and advice. I miss the many phone calls, and many times it was about nothing, just to talk. Your huge smile and energy you brought when you walked in a room, I will also miss immensely. Viewing old school pictures I remember fond memories and wish we could continue to build on memories now that we had children of our own. My heart breaks to know that a childhood friend is gone, you are and will forever be loved and missed. We may have lost you in body but you will never be gone. It's Mom. I will begin by saying.."I Love You," although it is 3:30 a.m., looks like I just had to talk to you. On that 6th day in July- 26 years ago I remember looking down at you and becoming the happiest "Mom" in the world-your hair was so dark, your eyes so big, with that magnetic smile. Everyone that met you fell in love instantly. Watching you grow into a responsible,caring,confident person only added to my joy. As the years went slowly by, you met and fell in love with "your soul mate"- Roger and in that came my beautiful grandchildren-my Nini/my Litl B's-you know I adore them and know that you had that piece of mind when you left us that I will do everything in my power to help Roger, everyone share the responsibility in caring for them. You became a wonderful mother,wife,daughter-in-law, but before that you were always that special daughter,older sister,friend. There was never a person that you came into contact with that did not become a "friend." You have always had the biggest heart and always concerned yourself with others always making sure that everyone was "taken care of" even if that meant taking care of yourself last. You have gone on to become one of the Lord's angels, but I can say that I take comfort in knowing that he only takes the "best", so when the kids and I say "Goodnight Mommy","Good Morning Mommy" and that special bright light shines our way..we know that you are sending hugs and kisses our way.

There truly are no words to express the loss of such a sweet, free spirit. Ashley loved to talk to all of us here at work about her family and how much she loved each of you.  We will miss getting to see her beautiful smile every day.  She had the most bubbly personality and she lit up when she talked about her babies. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone here and her warmth was a welcoming embrace to those who had the opportunity to meet her. Its very hard to say good bye, the sadness I feel is great. I feel that I have lost not only a friend and co-worker but a mentor, someone who I have looked up to for many years and have the deepest respect for. Ashley's death was sudden, but her life was not faint. Her memory will always be with us and I am so grateful for having known her.
