Barbara was born April 9th, 1939, in Madill, Oklahoma to Irvin and Geneva Jones. She graduated from La Porte High School in 1956. On May 11th, 1957, she married Tommy Leonard Moser of La Porte. Barbara was employed at Matheson Gas for 30 years. She enjoyed anything that involved her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren, going to any and every school, sport, and social event. She loved any arts and crafts activities not limited to painting, ceramics, stained glass and most importantly, sewing. She sewed for many people in La Porte, from prom dresses to cheerleader uniforms. She attended La Porte Community Church for more than 55 years working with her church family on many committees and becoming a church elder. She especially enjoyed vacation bible school, every summer, and all her grandchildren would come and help with VBS, too! She took great pride in her Bunco parties! Each one had to be bigger and better than the last! She never met a stranger. She could spend hours talking to people at the bank or the grocery store!
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Tommy Leonard Moser, parents, Irvin and Geneva Jones, and son Tommy Charles Moser. She is survived by her brother Jerry Jones and wife Pam, her children- Gwenda Moser, Tracy and Laurel Moser, Terry and Alana Moser, and Annette and Chris Riggenbach.
