Betty Waldrip Henderson, formerly of LaPorte, Texas passed away on March 11, 2021. She was born February 11, 1936 in Knox City, Texas to Lynn Waldrip and Marjorie Harris Waldrip. Betty graduated from Haskell High School in Haskell, Texas, received a teaching degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was retired from the Odessa Public Schools where she taught English in Permian High School and Special Education at Nimitz Junior High.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Matthew Madole.
Survived by son, Peter Henderson (and his wife Danna), granddaughters, Rachel Henderson Miller (and her husband Cody) and Miranda Henderson, grandson, Dustin Madole (and his wife Julia), great-grandsons, Caleb and Maverick Madole, great-granddaughter Loki Guillory, sister Peggy Bledsoe of Waco, nieces Sherrie Sanchez (and her husband Alex) and children Brittany Daniel (and her husband Chris) and Casey Moore (and his wife Channing and son Dawson), and Terrie Duffy (and her husband, Pat) and their children, Nathan, Benjamin and Megan.
