Carlotta Sue Bower

Carlotta Sue Bower, 73, of Deer Park, TX gained her wings surrounded by loved ones on March 21, 2023. She was born in Houston, TX on February 12, 1950, to Felix & Rose Ann Rodriguez. She was married to her loving husband, James “Jim” Bower for 38 years.

She had an endless love for her family, a special relationship with each. Her favorite color was purple and loved her collection of wood nutcrackers that she collected over the years. Amongst other things she loved cooking, sewing, watching her shows and taking care of her plants. Carlotta had a big heart, a hard worker and would help anyone that she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents Felix & Rose Ann Rodriguez and sister, Adeline Gossett.

She is survived by husband, James “Jim” Bower; sister, Sarah (Michael) Arron; sons, Craig Ruiz, Jeremy (Lee Ann) Bower, David (Yvonne Pineda) Ruiz; daughters, D’Angela Steadman, Laney (Robert) Ockerman, Karla (Gilbert Martinez) Kelly and Christina Avalos; grandchildren Ashley, Kayla, Daveigh, Cameron, Brooklyn, Kaylyn, Robert, Brennan, Rehgan, Michala, Jackie, Zach, Wesley and Kenny; great grandchildren, Mia, Dru, David Jr, Leo, Isabel, Robbie, Amelia and Roman; nephew, Johnathan (Abby); nieces, Dionne (Travis)and Alexandra; great nephews Joshua, Dorian and Christian, great nieces; Isabella, Zoey & Chloe (twins); brother-in-law, Ron Bower, Gary (Karen) Bower; sisters-in-laws, Arlene Clapsaddle & Nancy (Gary) Klee; many cousins, as well as other family and friends.

We hold you close within our hearts,

And there you shall remain,

to walk with us throughout our lives,

until we meet again.

So rest in peace dear loved one,

and thanks for all you’ve done.

the crown you’ve truly won.

A Tribute to our Mom

We are going to miss you mama. You were a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed you. You taught all of us a lot and will forever cherish the memories we all shared. You taught us all to love each other and stick together, that’s the legacy we will fulfill. Mama, don’t worry about Popo, we are going to take care of him like you asked us too, you didn’t even have to ask. We love you forever!

A Tribute to my Wife

Carlotta, We had a wonderful 38 years together and were blessed with a large and very close family. The years went by too fast, and you left me way to soon. We loved each other very much. I will miss you so very much and truly don’t know how I’m going to go on without you. I will forever love you!
