Carolyn Joyce Gatlin, 73, of Humble, Texas passed away on October 14, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born in Pasadena, Texas on July 19, 1944. She graduated from Austin Senior High School. She later married Herbert Gatlin on February 2, 2000. Carolyn had a career in Banking with Lockwood Bank and Waste Management with BFI. Carolyn had a passion for fishing, traveling, and especially gardening, tending to her beautiful flowers. She is preceded in death by her brother, Bobby William Thompson; Sister, Dolores Elaine Hutto; and Aunt, Louise Medley.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Herbert L. Gatlin; Mother, May Belle Jaetzold; Son, Kevin Bonds; Stepchildren, Chad Gatlin, Jacob Gatlin, Mark Gatlin, Bobby Christian, and Elizabeth Gatlin; Granddaughter, Meghan Rachelle Murphy; Great Granddaughter, Kylie Alexis Murphy; Sister, Patricia Morris and husband Bob; Brother, Gordon Moore; Sister in laws, Carolyn Thompson and Letha Bissonnet and husband Charlie; Half-sisters, Jan Sanders and Betty Ashley.
Carolyn's visitation will be October 19, 2017 11:30am-12:30pm and Funeral Service beginning at 12:30pm. Both services will be held at Grand View Funeral Home 8501 Spencer Hwy. Pasadena, Texas 77505.
