

Carolynne Judith Dimmick was born on October 25, 1940 to John Whiteside McCaskill and Lucille Bertha Lardie in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Her family moved to Deer Park, Texas when she was 12 years old. She soon met her sweetheart Darol Lee Dimmick in 1954 and they dated for five years when they married on August 22, 1959. Soon after their family began to grow starting with their first daughter Tammy Lee Fruge, then followed by John Thomas, David Lehi, Michael Lamond ending with their youngest daughter Virginia Diane Blevins. She served in numerous positions within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints her favorite of which was early morning Seminary teacher and Temple worker in the Houston, Texas Temple.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Jacqueline Faye and Heather Lucille, and her son-in-law David Fruge.
She is survived by her spouse Darol Lee Dimmick, children: Tammy Fruge, John Dimmick, David and Dawn Dimmick, Michael Dimmick, and Ginger and Todd Blevins. She was blessed with 18 grandchildren and then blessed further with 12 great-grandchildren. She also has numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A Celebration of Carolynne's Life will occur Friday, October 14, 2022 at 10:00AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4202 Yellowstone Drive, Pasadena, Texas 77504. She will be laid to rest at 12:00PM at Grand View Memorial Park.
