Carrie Ann Lavergne

Carrie Billeaudeaux Lavergne of Pasadena, TX passed away peacefully on May 29th, at the age of 87.She was born in a small town in Louisiana and lived in Ville Platte until she married Archie Lavergne in 1956 and moved to Lake Charles, LA.

She loved cooking, playing bridge, gardening, traveling and reading. She was employed for 16 years with Pasadena Independent School District, and a faithful parishioner of St. Pius V Catholic Church.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters Denise and Cynthia (Mike), 9 grandchildren (Alex, Beth, Jaymes, Crystalyn, Ben, Blake, Vanessa, Natalie & Audrey) and 6 great-grandchildren (Remi, Elizabeth, Mitchell, Abe, Vivian and Grant) and her 7th great-grandchild Addison is expected within a few weeks!

She was preceded in death by Archie, her husband of 62 yrs and her son Kent. Thanks to friends, neighbors and family members for all your visits, prayers and support over the years. Special thanks to the caregivers at Lakehouse on Dixie for the kind compassionate care they provided. We are very grateful for the exceptional nursing, psycho-social and spiritual care from the Essential Hospice team

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association.

A Rosary will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, on June 8, 2026, beginning at 9:00 am. Visitation will follow from 9:30 am to 10:30 am., with a Celebration of Carrie's Life will beginning at 10:30 am. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
