At the age of 42, Katie faced breast cancer with incredible strength and determination. Years later, at just 52 years old, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, a battle she faced with the same quiet courage and grace that defined her life.
Katie was a gentle and loving soul whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. She had a beautiful smile, a caring heart, and a warmth that made people feel safe and loved. She was deeply devoted to her family and cherished the time spent with those she loved most.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—Hallmark movies, Christmas, dancing, country music, and traveling to visit friends and family. She had a special gift for making people feel welcomed and important, and her love left a lasting mark on so many lives.
Katie also treasured the lifelong friendships she shared with her dear friends, Marianne and Sherri, whose love and companionship meant so much to her throughout the years.
She is survived by her mother, Carol; her sisters, Becky and Carolyn; her brothers, Joey and Stephan; along with her beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
The family is especially grateful for the love, care, and support Katie received throughout her journey and to all those who stood beside her during difficult times.
Katie’s faith in God remained strong throughout her life and brought her comfort and peace. We find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved grandmother, Ethel Pasquale, whom she loved dearly. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her gentle spirit, strength, and unconditional love will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
