

Charles Christopher “Chris” Green of Dayton, Texas passed away at the age of 61 at home on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 after a two year battle with cancer.
Chris was born on November 5th, 1961 in Tallahassee, Florida to Charles and Pat Green. At the age of three the family moved to Pearland Tx where Chris spent his childhood and teenage years.
He spent most of his life in the oil and gas industry. Eventually opening his own NDE company, Critical Response Inspection Service (CRIS).
Chris met Rhonda in 1994 and they married in 2005. He also became a father to her two teenage daughters. They later built their home in Dayton Tx and lived there together until his passing.
Chris’ favorite moments were spent with his family. When his grandbabies were born he earned his most cherished title, the best Paw Paw ever. He was also an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, mowing, tractor work, dirt work, haying fields and clearing property.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda, his father-in-law RE, daughter Brandi and husband Brian, daughter Blythe and boyfriend Daniel. Grandchildren Bristol, Brilee, Ezra and Ragnar. Brother Robert and wife Randee, their children Cooper and Kate and brother David.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Pat Green and his niece Shelby.
Chris will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena, TX on Friday, December 30th at 2:00 PM.
