Charlyene Schrader Prescott

Charlyene Prescott, loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend, loss her battle with Parkinson’s Disease and left this life for her Heavenly Home on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the age of 78. She was born December 27, 1932 in Caldwell, Texas to parents, Lillie Duncan Smith and Albert Schrader. She was confirmed in the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Lyons, Texas and was a graduate of Caldwell High School. She lived most of her life in Houston working for Brown and Root, retiring after a 35-year career. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Prescott on July 21, 2002. She moved to Gonzales, Louisiana in 2004 where she enjoyed her life with her dear friend and companion, T.V. Featherston until her death.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Prescott and fiancée, Wendy, of Fort Stockton,

Randall Prescott of Houston and Mark Prescott of La Porte; grandchildren, Jason Prescott and wife Brandi, Jennafer Prescott, Ashley Prescott, Justin Prescott; six great-grandchildren; sisters, June Calvin of Caldwell and Hazel Rhodes of Pinehurst;

nieces and nephews; cousins and many friends. She devoted her entire life to her family and will be deeply missed by everyone.

Visitation will be held from 6 –8 PM Wednesday, July 13th. Graveside services will be at

10 AM, Thursday, July 14th, at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, (281) 479-6076.
