Chester Leon Lambert, 88, passed away on July 6, 2020. He is now reunited with his beautiful wife Millie, who was the love of his life, and they are both rejoicing in the arms of the Lord. He is survived by his 4 sons, Robert and wife Dawn, Roger and wife Nonie, Norman and wife Amanda, Nolan and wife Dawn; 11 grandchildren, Jamie and husband Jason, Kevin and wife Keely, Chelsea, Meagan and husband David, William, Taylor and husband Michael, Jordan, Kirby and husband Michael, Jonah, Nathan, Thomas; and 5 great grandchildren, Noah, Colt, Crockett, Declan, Elizabeth.
He was born on September 15, 1931 in Fisher County, Texas and lived his last 57 years in Pasadena, Texas. He grew up on the farm and joined the United States Air Force in 1948 and had attained the rank of Staff Sargent by the time he was discharged in 1961. He married the love of his life Alice Mildred “Millie” Flowers on May 31, 1954. His four sons married the long-awaited daughters and his grandchildren were the apples of his eye. He loved to work and tinker on anything mechanical, collected all kinds of toys and toy trains and enjoyed his weekly bowling league. He was a faithful member of Southside Church of Christ and formerly a member of the Central Church of Christ, both of Pasadena, Texas.
The funeral service will be held at the Grand View Funeral Home on Friday July 10, Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are limited on how many guests may attend the services, however the service will be streamed live on Grand View Funeral Home and Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery's Facebook page for anyone who would like to virtually join them.
