Charles Patton "Chuck" Smith, age 54, was called home on November 1, 2011, after a year-long battle with cancer. At his side was his loving wife Cindy, two daughters, Emily and Amy, brother, Ray, and sister Celia. Chuck was born on May 10, 1957 to Charles and Patsy Smith of Pasadena, Texas. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, two daughters, Emily and Amy, brother, Ray Smith, sister, Celia McGuire and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1PM at Clearpoint Church, 5151 East Sam Houston Parkway South in Pasadena. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. There are so many things that I will miss about Chuck..but I have to say his big hugs and wonderful laugh are two things I will never forget and miss dearly. - Cindy, Emily, and Amy - yall are truly loved by everyone that has met yall - God will be with you through this and so will everyone that loves you so dearly. I was very sad to hear about Chuck. He had lived down the street from me and we both attended South Shaver Elementary and then both went to Sam Rayburn. He was always so nice and friendly. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
