The day you married my Sister is vivid in my mind because of the joy you brought her.  It's also the day I gained a Brother.  Thank you for being caring and loving and for being there for Amanda,  my nieces, and nephews.  You will always be remembered.

You will always have a special place in my heart Corey. I can still remember how cute you were as a kid and I would carry you everywhere like you were mine. You grew up and the next thing you know we were both having girls at the same time. You always had the sweetest soul. God takes the best but I know we will meet again. You will never be forgotten. Funny story that I’ll never forget. We were scheduled to have Lainey via c-section on July 23rd 2009. The night before Corey and I made all my favorites for dinner. He was outside grilling steaks, and I was in the kitchen. I squatted down to get something from under the stove and my water broke all over the kitchen floor. Corey was so nervous, and so excited, but he thought I just peed on myself. He made me stand over a towel for half an hour to be sure and then said it was time to go to the hospital. We never even got to eat! That night he was so happy, he’d always had a beautiful smile but this night it was different. He was beaming. I’ll never forget that smile when he held her the first time. 

We did not know Corey very well, but the thing I will always be thankful for is even not knowing us well us having mutual friends him and his wife Amanda always would talk with us and make us feel welcomed at events we went to. Corey was extremely friendly and kind even to strangers and was welcoming. Even the little bit of conversations we had with him it was clear how much he cared for others especially his family. 

A great cousin, friend, and father. One of my favorite people. I always enjoyed getting to spend xmas with Corey and his family.  Always looked forward to what new adventures we had going on. We didnt get much time together but when we did, it was always a great time, plenty of story's and laughs. Going to miss you cuz. Rest in heaven.

Corey, I love you for loving my daughter. I love you more for loving my two granddaughters. I love you for allowing me the privilege to be "Nana " to two of your children and for blessing me with my youngest grandson. Rest in peace. I know you will be watching over your loved ones.

I grew up next door to their Grandma so we were friends almost immediately I think.  When "the boys" Conrad, Corey, and Justin were over we would play on the weekends together. There was plenty of bike riding, basketball, swimming, playing in the backyard, and playing video games too. There isn't any particular memories that stick out but I remember him having a great time when we did hang out as kids.
