Corinne Faye Hamilton, 82, passed away on March 24, 2014 in Houston, Texas. She was born on June 22, 1931 in Webster, Texas to S.D. and Florence Follis. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Harry Hamilton; son, Raymond Allen Hamilton; brothers, Vernon “Buddy” Follis, Roy Follis and Charles Follis. She is survived by her son, Mike Hamilton and wife Diana; daughter, Rita Connell and husband Lanny; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Corinne loved to cater weddings, decorate cakes, gardening, traveling and serving others. Going to church was her lifestyle and she looked forward to taking her last trip to see Jesus. She will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 2 pm at First Assembly of God: La Porte 316 E. Fairmont Pkwy La Porte, TX 77571. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
