

Dale Plant, 81, of Pearland, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 2, 1945, in Houston, Texas. Dale grew up and began his family in Deer Park, Texas.
Dale proudly served his country as an Army veteran. He was a devoted husband, father, Paw Paw, brother, and friend whose love for life and the people around him was evident in all he did. His family was at the heart of his life, and he brought dedication, warmth, and joy to every relationship. Dale had a special gift for making others feel seen, loved, and proud to be part of his family.
A member of Sagemont Church, Dale’s faith was an important part of his life. Through his military service, devotion to his family, and kindness toward others, he leaves a lasting legacy of love, faith, strength, and cherished memories that will continue through the generations.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Jan Plant; his sons, Brian; Kevin and his wife, Tonya; and Matthew and his wife, Melanie; his grandchildren, Garrick and his wife, Hailey; Camryn; Landin; Riley; Michael; Carter; and Landen; his great-grandchildren, Stella Jane; Maddox Wayne; and Cypress Matthew; and his siblings, Donnie and his wife, Kyla; Beverly and her husband, Tommy; and Ted and his wife, Mollie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollie Ray and Myrta Ann Plant, his brother, Ray L Plant and his niece, Shannon Fisher.
A visitation will be held on October 13, 2026, at 3 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 4 p.m.
Dale will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, faith, and example will remain a treasured part of the lives he touched.
