

Danny graduated from Pasadena High School in 1971 and went to work selling oil field equipment in central Texas. Later on Danny took interest in the crating business. He became his own boss and started Baker’s Crating Services, which is still in business today.
Throughout his life Danny was a passionate musician. He loved playing bass guitar and played with various bands over the years including The Dickson Stage Band. He also collected classic cars and firearms. He was a caring friend and loving uncle. He spent many hours catching up with family drinking beer out on the farm.
He will be missed dearly by his niece Kimberly Laughlin and husband Will of Houston, Texas; niece Jessica Wainright of Longview, Texas; great nephews Cole and Michael; and great nieces Hannah and Riley. He is preceded in death by his sister Nancy Kay Valentine and brother, Robert Baker.
All services will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas, 77505. Visitation will be on Monday, August 10, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held immediately following.
All are welcome to attend the celebration of Danny’s life. Danny was very passionate about supporting cancer research; therefore in lieu of flowers, feel free to make a donation in his honor to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
