David worked for Petro Chemical for OxyChem as a shift leader. Beyond his work, he found deep joy in the life he built with those he loved most—especially his grandchildren and family—and he took quiet pleasure in watching golf, as well as in fishing and hunting. In all seasons of life, David remained a steady presence: devoted in his commitments, generous in his care for others, and remembered for the way he touched hearts through simple kindness and genuine concern.
He was preceded in death by Damus Garey (father) and Jean Garey (mother).
He is survived by Pam Garey (wife); Jeanette Garey (daughter); Jonathan Garey (son); Cara Garey (daughter-n-law); Billy Garey (brother) & wife Susan; Roary Kramer (grandson); and Ella and Everett Garey (grandchildren).
David will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather—one who cared for those he met and left a lasting imprint through the strength of his love and the sincerity of his character.
