A rosary service will occur Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 6:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. The funeral mass will occur Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10:30 AM at St Augustine Catholic Church, 5560 Laurel Creek Way, Houston, TX 77017.

David William Mathews was born on June 17th, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York. David married Angela Mathews in Honolulu, Hawaii on 8/18/18. Siblings include Raymond P. Mathews and Diana Mathews. Sister-n-law Cynita Mathews. Children David William Mathews II, Dyllon Michael Anthony Mathews, and Kristin Mathews. David had three step-daughters Nina, Victoria, and Alexa. David had two nephews Ruben Spencer Mathews and Raymond West Mathews and two nieces Crystal Andrews and Julie Andrews.

David's first job in the airlines 1983 ramp for Ogden JFK airport. David had in between jobs with American Airlines and 5 years with Pan American Airlines. And lastly with CAL/United Airlines from 1992 to the present. David retired from the United Airlines at the end of June 2020. But David states in his own words "I will always be a Continental man."
