I remember early in our friendship as single Moms we shared stories about our High School children and all their activities and travels and wished it was US going on some of those trips!! So, a few years after our children graduated, we decided to take our own trip to New York City!! We saw everything! Had a New York pizza, went to Macys, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, even Yankee Stadium! We were so proud of ourselves being able to get around their subway system. We had a drink in the Rainbow Room on the top of the NBC Building. We were there Labor Day weekend before 9/11. That's a trip I will never forget!

A few years later Jack and I invited Denise to go with us to Las Vegas, another good time. Of course, we saw everything! But I think the most fun was we went into one casino and one of the Dealers taught Denise and I how to play the Roulette Wheel. We were hooked and played in every casino we went in after that, Jack couldn't keep up with us and gave up trying!! We left him in the hotel to play that Roulette Wheel for hours downtown. Fun, fun.

I will always treasure those good times and the many more memories I have.
