Donald was born in Beaumont, Texas on May 28,1936. He attended Beaumont High School then went to Lamar Tech for a year or two. Don worked at Gulf States in Beaumont, then Trailways Bus Company where he transferred to Houston as a night Supervisor until retirement. Don and Susan married on June 23, 1961.
He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Lillie Mae Cain and his wife Susan Clark Cain.
Don is survived by his son Charles Cain and wife Celia, daughter; Marilyn Wallace and husband Wesley; four grandchildren, Stephanie Dorman, Kellie and husband William Harris, Emilie and husband Rob Lopez and Zach Dorman; and five great grandchildren; Becky Dorman, Sarah and Craig Harris , Robert ,and Michael Lopez.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Pasadena located at 7500 West Fairmount Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Graveside will follow.
