Donald Lee Jackson was born on September 15, 1941, in Pasadena, TX, to Clyde & Golda Jackson. He was the youngest of 6 children. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1959. He also graduated from The University of Houston as an Engineer.
He loved hunting, fishing, cars and working out with his buddies at the gym.
He retired in 2010 from Siemens where he worked as a project manager and was looking forward to the next chapter in his life of being retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Golda Jackson, 2 brothers ~ Wayne & Dean Jackson and both of his sons Jerry and Brian Jackson.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Hendricks and her husband Danny; grandsons, Aaron McCartney and Danny Hendricks Jr.; brothers, Bill Jackson and his wife Kathleen, and James Jackson and his wife Bobbie; sister, Patsy Strong; stepmother, Viola Jackson & numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 13, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
