Donald H. Scott, 64, of La Porte, Texas was born on June 16, 1955 in Stamford, CT to parents, Henry J. and Catherine Lannon Scott. Donald entered into rest on Sunday, June 7, 2020, leaving behind his loving family and wife of 38 years, Jovita “Cooky” Scott.
He attended Central High School in Bridgeport, CT and went on to attend the University of Connecticut from 1973-1977, where he earned his BA. After graduation, Donald began his career in management in the grocery retail industry.
Donald loved old country music and watching baseball and football in his spare time, but was the biggest fan of his children. His greatest joys were anything his daughters were involved in.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry J. Scott; mother, Catherine Scott; sister, Nora Scott King. Donald is survived by his wife, Jovita “Cooky” Scott, his children, Karina E. Lohman, Kristina Y. Brannan and husband Daniel Brannan; grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Lohman, Sarah Nicole Lohman, Kristian Michael Brannan, Julian Tyler Brannon; brothers, John Scott of California and Geoffrey Scott of Connecticut; sister, Bronwyn Scott from Connecticut; his whole family that loved him, and special friends, Jean Sullivan, Nancy Phillips and Pam Sullivan.
