Edward Paul O'Keefe

March 4, 1936 - February 13, 2023

Edward Paul O’Keefe (86) passed away peacefully at his home on February 13, 2023, in

Pasadena, Texas. He was born on March 4, 1936, in Peabody, Massachusetts. After

graduating from Salem High School, Ed joined the U.S. Air Force. He served our country

from 1953 until 1957. He was originally stationed at Keesler Air Force Base and served on

active duty in Japan. After being transferred to Ellington Field Air Force Base in Houston, Texas, he met the love of his life, Tina. He and Tina married on May 31,1959 and celebrated 56 years of marriage while building a beautiful life together in Pasadena, Texas. After Ed completed his service with the U.S. Air Force, he was employed with the FAA at Bush Intercontinental Airport for nearly forty years. While being employed with the FAA, he completed a college degree from Prairie View A&M.

Ed was also fondly known as Grampy. He spent his retirement years traveling and attending

his grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s school and extracurricular activities, never missing a moment to celebrate their successes.

Ed is survived by his daughter Martha (Tim) Stanley of Friendswood, Texas, son Michael

(Jennifer) O’Keefe of Beaumont, Texas, and a daughter Maureen O’Keefe of Pasadena,

Texas. Ed was blessed with four grandchildren, Ryan (Emily) Stanley of Friendswood,

Texas, Ashley (Bryce) Arnold of Pearland, Texas, Collin O’Keefe of Beaumont, Texas and

Callie O’Keefe of Beaumont, Texas. In addition to his four grandchildren, Ed was a Great

Grampy to four great grandchildren Delaney & Bethany Stanley and Oliver & Parker Arnold.

Ed is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 18,2023 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration

of Life with Military Funeral Honors at 2:00 p.m. and Reception immediately following at

Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
