Elma Gaitan Coronado, 56 of Pasadena, Tx went to be with the lord on April 3, 2022. She was born August 17, 1965 to Joseph Gaitan and Florestella M. Torres. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her family was her life especially her pride and joy her 6 grandchildren. She enjoyed attending all of their activities. She enjoyed being at the beach any chance she got. She loved baking and having Sunday family dinners. And every Sunday morning she enjoyed attending church with her husband at St. Pius, where she was a member.
Elma is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Elias Coronado; her daughter, Eleni Coronado; sons, Elias Coronado and wife Laura; Erik Coronado and wife Flor, and Evan Coronado and wife Beatriz; her grandchildren Elias Coronado, Erica Coronado, Eleazar Coronado, Ella Coronado, Mia Coronado and Erik Coronado; her father, Joseph Gaitan; Siblings, Orlando Gaitan and wife Morie, Sonia Martinez and husband Arthur, Joey Gaitan and wife Laura, and Teddy Torres and numerous family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Florestella Torres and sister, Erica Torres and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with burial following at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a rosary being recited at 6:00pm, at Grand View Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be her 3 sons, Elias Coronado, Erik Coronado and Evan Coronado, her 3 brothers, Orlando Gaitan, Joey Gaitan, and Teddy Torres, her brother in law, Arthur Martinez, along with grandson, Elias Coronado. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons Eleazar Coronado and Erik Coronado.
