Febronio "Big Joe" Jose Rangel Jr.

Febronio Jose "Big Joe" Rangel Jr., age 67, of Deer Park, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. He was born in Georgetown, Texas on December 2, 1956 to Vebronio and Eva Rangel. He was married to the love of his life, Elsa Elvira Rangel.

Febronio had worked as a truck driver for Dorsett Brothers. He was a member of St. Pius V Catholic Church. In his free time, Febronio enjoyed drumming, playing and listening to tejano music, and playing pool. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife Elsa Rangel, father Vebronio R. Rangel, mother Eva Munoz Rangel, and siblings Juan Rangel and Isabel Rodriguez.

Left to cherish Febronio's memory are his sister Dolores Sanchez and husband Jesus, and brother David Munoz, daughter Ida and husband Danny Vela, and son Febronio III and wife Diana Rangel. Grandchildren: Jalisa Guerra, Jharilyn Hernandez, Liliana Romero, and Favian Rangel, great-grandchildren Milani Arispe, Vincent Guzman, Penelope Guerra, Raiden Mexicano, Marcus Sevilla, and his beloved dog Stormy Girl.

A visitation for Febronio will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A Celebration of Mass will be Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 824 Main Street, Pasadena, Texas 77506. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
