Francisca Estrada

Francisca (Frances) Castillo Estrada, of Pasadena, Texas was born January 29, 1942 in San Benito, Texas to Cleofas and Bruna (Vasquez) Castillo and passed away at her home on August 22, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother: a very strong woman with a beautiful sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. She was a great mother with a big heart, very adventurous in her younger days. She was very brave on her own and did things on her own terms, but always with good faith. She welcomed all who came through her home. She left a beautiful reflection on anyone she touched in her life, even if they only met her once. Her best quality was that she knew something special about each one of her loved ones, and she catered to each of their needs in that way. She had unconditional love for her brothers and sisters. She always kept them close to her heart. She was very strong in her Catholic faith, and prayed her rosary every day.

She is survived by her son, Ricardo Garza and wife, Eva; daughters, Belinda Ponce and husband, Jose; Debra Hasan and husband, Jay; Cynthia Precella and husband, Julio and Frances Rocha and husband, Juan; daughter-in-law, Judith Garza; grandchildren, Star Garza, Rico Garza, Sara Garza, Brittany Garza and Brandon Garza; Eddie Lopez, Chris Lopez and Derrick Lopez; Nicole Hasan and Leyla Hasan; Lori Precella Briones and husband, John; Julio Precella and wife, Karen, Marie Precella and Joseph Precella; Adriana Rocha and Sal Yanez, Yesenia Rocha, Jade Rocha and Ivie Rocha; Bethany Garza, Camryn Garza and Bryan Garza along with great-grandchildren, Makayla Ramos, Brody Briones, Trent Briones, Khole Precella, Zoey Yanez, Zaniyah Yanez, Zara Yanez, Ozzie Yanez and Kingston Beaudion; brothers and sisters, Acencion Ochoa and husband, Eleazar; Juanita Longoria and husband, Abelardo; Teodoro Castillo and wife, Delia; Richard Castillo and wife, Rosario and Felipa Ceguera and husband, Joel along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raynaldo Estrada, her brother, Thomas Castillo, sister, TeDora Rodriguez and son, Rafael Garza.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Friday, August 27, 2021 at St. Pius Catholic Church with burial following at Grand View Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday evening, August 26, 2021 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rico Garza, Derrick Lopez, Julio Precella, Joseph Precella, Jacey Ceguera, Matthew Lopez, Bryan Garza and Cleo Castillo. Cleofas Castillo was honorary Patriarch of the families.
