Gary Wayne Reilly, age 64, passed away early Sunday morning, May 17,2020, at home with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born January 14, 1956 in West Memphis, Arkansas to William Edwin Reilly and Josephine McDermot Reilly. He was the youngest of three children. He was raised and lived in Pasadena, Texas. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1974. He was a Boilermaker by craft for the refineries in and around Pasadena, Texas.

Gary W. Reilly was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Josephine Reilly, and his brother George "Mike" Reilly. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Karen Reilly, their daughter Marilyn Reilly Perez and her husband Javier, his grandchildren Kainoa, Kenneth, Lilith, and Maxwell, and his brother Kenneth Reilly and his wife Sandy. He also has many loved in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Gary was a member of the Moose Lodge. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved classic rock and country music, especially Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, and Randy Travis. Gary has always been known as an honest, hard working man who was forever helping anyone who needed it.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 with visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm and a memorial service following immediately beginning at 2:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Gary's memory may do so to The American Liver Foundation or a charity of your choice.

I knew Gary for 50 years along with his brother Mike. Karen,I am so sorry to lose my friend and you losing your wonderful husband.We had so much fun playing pool and playing football pots. The pool games will never be the same without him. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. He was a good man and liked by all. This big fella will remain in my heart and life. He was one honest and dependable person who would help anyone who needed help. Gary friended me and we were like brothers. I would have been there for him no matter the situation as he did for me. Gary and Karen became mine and my wife's friends and welcomed us to Pasadena and they are the reason we remained here. We knew Gary for a long time. He went to school with 2 of my boys and was at our house many times. We were surprised to see him again when he joined the Moose. Gary was a great guy and will be missed by many. Rest in Peace my Brother.
