George Castro, 68, of Pasadena, Texas passed away October 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas to Manuel and Estefana Castro. Along, with his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ricarda Garcia, Carlos Castro, Susan Resendez, Frank Castro and Manuel Castro.
Mr. Castro is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Carmen Castro; daughters, Thelma Castro Moreno and husband Ernest, Leticia Castro Garrett and husband James C., Georgene Castro Rosales and husband Rado, Cindy Castro Duran and husband Jose, Sandy Castro Hernandez and husband Johnny, Rebecca C. Garcia and husband Fermin; grandchildren, Brittany, Brandi, Brooke and Bridgette Moreno, Julianna, Nicholas, Jacquelyn, Nathan and Jenna Mae Rosales, Serena, Johnny and Noah Hernandez; Great-granddaughter, Camilla Garcia; siblings, Maria Cordova, Esmerelda Moreno, Janie Castro, Yolanda Castro and Florentino Castro.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 4, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home 8501 Spencer Hwy., Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at St. Pius V Catholic Church 824 Main St. Pasadena, Texas 77506. Followed by burial in Grand View Cemetery.
