Georgie Marie Banks, age 97, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. She was born in Austwell, Texas on August 6, 1926 to Eugene F Morgan (Buck) and Cecil E Morgan (Big Mama). She was married to Dennis Jack Banks for 25 years. Georgie worked for Maxwell House Coffee and retired after 25 years. She had a passion for traveling, painting and family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by Dennis Jack Banks, Parents; Buck and Big Mama, Sisters; Lora Platte, Lorene Coleman, Dorris Fisher, Children; Rosa Owens, Dennis Banks, Donna Wood, Granddaughter; Kala Isles and many other loved ones.
She is survived by Daughter; Jeannine Pace, Brother; Ken Morgan and wife Shirley, Grandson; Mike Pace and Allie, Great Granddaughters; Karissa Wilkie and husband Joe, Kayla Fields and Husband Cyrus, Carlee Pace, Great Great Granddaughters; Harper Fields and many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
