Gladys Elizabeth Hill

She married Arno Hill on September 13, 1954 in Gonzales. Later, they moved to Pasadena with her 2 sons. The two made their home in Pasadena and later welcomed their beloved daughter in 1959. Gladys then spent many years working as a teacher's aide.

Gladys had an unwavering love for the Lord. She looked forward to going to church and spending time with her family. She loved listening to gospel music. In her free time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Gladys also had a special place in her heart for her cat, Precious.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arno Hill in 2014, later her son Robby, and then her son Bobby.

Left to cherish Gladys' memory are her loving daughter and family, and her grandchildren. She will also be missed by her church family and of course, Precious, her cat.

Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home in the Yellow Rose Chapel, located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, on June 26, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Gladys' Life will begin at 2:00 pm. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park on June 26, 2026.
