Gloria Reyes Flores was born on July 23, 1941 and went to be with The Lord on December 6, 2014. She was a caring, kind, and giving resident of Galena Park for forty-five years. Although she was a strong woman of faith, she lost her struggle with breast cancer and other illnesses.
Gloria was a loving mother who touched the lives of many, putting her family's needs first, and treating others as if they were her own. Gloria impacted all the lives she touched, loving unconditionally and giving generously.
Gloria was a blessed woman and is survived by her husband Ernesto Flores, her seven children, Ernie Flores, Enrique Flores, Mary Flores, Gloria Walz, Christina Verbosky, Diane Flores, and Gina Flores. Gloria was adored by her eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nine granddogs.
Additional survivors are her brothers Chonito and Martin, her sisters Reyna, Tina, Chayo, Mari, and Rosa, and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Grand View Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with at Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Grand View Funeral Home.
