

Grace Ruby Lynch, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on February 15, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, Grace lived a life rich in family, faith, and the kind of steady love that holds a family together across generations.
Grace's heart belonged to the people she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister whose home was always open and whose care for others never wavered. Those who knew her understood that family was the center of everything she did, and she poured herself into the lives of her children and grandchildren with generosity and warmth.
She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, Bill Lynch; her parents, Lamar and Edna Dickey, and Helen and Paul Higgins; her brothers Floyd Dickey, Kenneth Dickey and Billy Higgins; and her son-in-law, Eric Fuentez.
Grace leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lanette Fuentez; her sons, Michael Trest and his wife Leslie, and Kenneth Trest and his wife Anna; her brother, Bobby Higgins and his wife Gail; and her sister, Paula Garibay. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Katherine Gates and her husband Nate, Kenneth Wayne Trest, Kenneth Dale Trest and his wife Diana, Krystale Cook her husband Chris; Nick Trest, and Noah Trest. Grace is also survived by multiple great-grandchildren.
A woman of faith, Grace found comfort and strength in her Christian beliefs throughout her life. She trusted in the promises of her Lord, and her family takes solace in knowing she has been welcomed home and reunited with those who went before her. Her quiet faith was woven into the way she lived, offering love freely and facing life with grace that matched her name.
Those who loved Grace will remember her gentle spirit, her devotion to her family, and the warmth she brought to every gathering. Especially her country and western dances at the American Legion in Pasadena where she loved to glide across the dance floor until the lights came on. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely remains with all who knew her.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Grace's life. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15th from 5:00PM - 8:00PM in the Lone Star stateroom of Grand View Funeral Home, located at 8501 Spencer Hwy Pasadena, TX 77505. A Celebration of Grace's life will be held Friday, October 16th at 2:00PM. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
