Albert Grover (Bill) Holloway, Jr. was born On January 13, 1918 in Pasadena, Texas, just a few miles from where he died peacefully near his home in Friendswood, Texas on nn-May-2013 with his family close by. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Gladys Sue, both parents, and his brother, Vernon D. Holloway of Baytown, TX. Grover was born in Pasadena, Texas when there were only Strawberry fields, and wild donkeys inhabiting the prairie. He attended Pasadena High School, and enjoyed the freedom to live and roam outdoors where he developed a free and independent spirit that lasted a life time until losing a long battle with numerous health issues at the age of 95.
He is survived by his only Son, Alan E. Holloway of Friendswood, TX, and wife Cherie, his sister, Louise Bishop of Baytown, TX, Granddaughter Amanda Wesson, and husband Joe of Pasadena, TX, Grandson Alex B. Holloway and wife Zheila of San Francisco, CA, Great Grand Children Zackery A. Holloway and Fiancé Michaela Decker of San Antonio, TX, Baileigh Wisocki of Pasadena, TX, and Great-Great Grandson Braxton A. Holloway of San Antonio, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
