Guadalupe "Abel" Carmona passed away at the age of 54 on March 25, 2012 in Pasadena, TX. He was born on April 2, 1957 in Pasadena, TX to Lupe and Felicitas "Faye" Carmona, and is preceded in death by his mother. Abel is survived by his father, Lupe Carmona; 2 sons, Guadalupe Able Carmona, Jr., Nicholas Justin Carmona; 1 granddaughter, Celeste Elizabeth Carmona; 2 sisters, Janie Ontiveros and her husband Jesse, Elizabeth Carmona-Caudillo and her husband John; 1 brother, David Paul Carmona; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Juan Diego Catholic Church 3301 Pasadena Blvd. Pasadena, TX 77503 on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. For those desiring to do so, memorial contributions in honor of Abel may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
