Lupe then started a career with Highway Haulers in 1997. His CB handle was “Silver Bullet”. This provided the opportunity for him, Sylvia and grandkids to visit parts of 45 states. These times on the road are the backbone of love and memories to be remembered forever. He was able to retire in September of 2012 to enjoy the comforts of his families’ events.
Lupe had a strong passion for spending time with his family which included watching the Dallas Cowboys with his kids and grandkids. Lupe also loved to shoot pool and play in tournaments at the local watering holes. He was known as a “Pool Shark” to many. Lupe also enjoyed fixing cars, going to casinos and receiving scratch offs as gifts for the love of gambling. Lupe aka “El Catrin” loved to dance and boy did he know he was being watched as it fueled his fire. And those that knew Lupe the most, knew his love of sharing a drink! His choice of liquor was his Seagram’s 83, so Cheers to you “The MAN, The MYTH, The LEGEND.
