I fondly remember being a kid and when Uncle Harley would come to Mississippi for a visit we were always in for a treat because of his easy manner and nice personality. Sitting at Granny's table there at the home place in Ovett listening to his great stories was always a highlight. Harley was such a gifted and funny yarn teller.

Dad liked to have company and visit with friends and family. He would tell stories from events that happened in his youth. He and his siblings would stay up almost all night talking. He impacted many people with is stories and fun personality. I will miss him greatly.
