Harold and I were friends at East Texas Baptist College. 

I went to college with Harold and we became close friends. He had a ford car that he loved very much. I had yellow corvair.. He would often make jokes about my little yellow car. It wasn’t much of a car. He was tall, handsome and athletically built.  I pretended that he was my boyfriend, but in reality, he was just a great friend. I knew it, but that didn’t stop me from dreaming. I left ETBC to attend East Texas State University. I taught school for 34 years and am retired. I remember Harold as a wonderful guy. 

Sorry for your loss , Harold was a great guy, Prayers for you Kathy ,Amanda and Jason and family . I know he will be missed by all family and friends.

A truly great man and my friend for 40 years. I'm very thankful and blessed to have had Gomer in my life and honored to call him my friend.

Thoughts and prayers to your family.  I worked with Gomer at Bigler when he first hired on.  I will always remember him, he was such a sweet man.  So sorry to hear that he has passed.  He was so proud of his kids and grandkids.    I am glad that he was able to retire and spend some time with you all.  I know he will be missed by all and especially his "boys" at Bigler/Enterprise.
