Hazel Ruth Townley, age 83, peacefully entered the gates of glory into the presence of her precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. She was born on November 29, 1932 in Harmon, Oklahoma to Mary Ann Deavers and Andrew Thomas Jenkins, she was the youngest of seven. Hazel was a wonderful and dedicated grandmother that loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was known for her generosity and passion for serving the Lord. She worked as an accountant for Hughes Tool Corp. from 1962 through 1982. She also purchased and managed the leasing of three houses for several years. She is preceded in death by her infant son Stephan and her six siblings. She is survived by her son Scott (and Dory) Townley, granddaughters Christina (and Ryan) Johnson, and Jennifer Townley. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 6-8pm at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena Texas. Services celebrating her life will be Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00am with Pastor Roland Hill officiating. Following services, Hazel will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
