Helen was married to Jason Comar from 1952 to 1967. Surviving are her children Frances of Pasadena, Texas; Eric of Osseo, Michigan; Allen of Pasadena, Texas and Rae of Royal Oak, Michigan. Also surviving are Elizabeth Northcott and Kathleen Erard, both of Toledo and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as sisters, Marge Kohler and Rosemary Arquette, and brother John Opre.
At her request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505 on December 2, 2016 to celebrate her life.
