Ms. Ignacia (Queney) Garza Montemayor, a long-time resident of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on May 28, 2025. Ms. Montemayor was a native of Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was born on April 20, 1937, and was devoted housewife. She leaves behind daughters: Maria Teresa (Mayte) Montemayor, Diana Montemayor Hernandez, Elsa Leticia Montemayor Lopez – husband Ramiro Lopez and Rosalinda Montemayor – husband Paul Ruiz. Grandchildren Eduardo Garcia – wife Brittany Ruiz Garcia, Fernando Garcia, J.C. Hernandez – wife Hannah Montoya Hernandez, R. J. Lopez, Isa Alessandra Lopez, A. J. Lopez and great grandchildren Eli Garcia, Emmet Garcia, Ethyn Garcia, Lucas Garcia and Ezra Garcia.
The viewing will be held at Grandview Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas on Sunday June 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with rosary at 7:00PM. The funeral will be held at the same location on Monday June 2nd at 10:00 AM.
Ms. Montemayor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
