Inadon "Donnie" Tramel Tramel West

Inadon “Donnie” Tramel West departed from our sight to rest in the arms of her loving Savior for eternal release from pain and suffering. Donnie was born June 16, 1938 in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Inez Tramel and her special grandmother, Tillie Gober. Grandma Gober was a strong influence on Donnie’s early life and was responsible for her caring and giving nature. Donnie was an avid gardener decorator, as well as a gifted seamstress and exceptional cook. Donnie was raised in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from Deer Park High School. She attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Dean West, her three sons Greg West and his fiancé Lesleigh Ruminer of Nixon; Matt West and his wife Carol of Mont Belvieu and Chris West and his wife Wendy of Highlands; Seven grandchildren Kaylyn and Cheyenne West, Alexandra and Carson West, Jeremey Hensarling and wife Amanda, Maegan and Lyndsey West; One great-grandchild, Levi Hensarling and Rick and Alyssa Damon and Noah O’Neil. She is also survived by her sister and forever friend Shirley Beck. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. Pallbearers will be Billy John Beck, Tom Sessions, Glenn West, Patrick Valkner, Jeremey Hensarling, Cory Sessions and Eric Sessions. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Mack Lamb and Carson West.

Visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home on Monday, August 19, 2013 from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Please join us in remembering our loving mother, Greg, Matt and Chris West.
