Ivie Jeane Garcia, 80, entered eternal rest at home surrounded by her family on December 26, 2014 in Pasadena, Texas. “Jeane” was born on March 2, 1934 to Homer H. Miller and Mirtice Ollie Davis Letney, in Brookeland, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Odis Powell. She is survived by her beloved husband Jose “Joe” Abundio Garcia and her six daughters, Linda (Willy) Franklin of Hitchcock, Texas, Rita (Randy) McLain of Dayton, Texas, Rhonda (Robert) Murrell of Deer Park, Texas, Brenda Lucas (Mike) of Sante Fe, Texas, Shelia (Billy) Webel of El Campo, Texas, and Teresa (Pete) Arguelles of Deer Park, Texas, one sister Estelle Leary of Spring, Texas, and one brother Gerald (Joyce) Miller of Jasper, Texas. She had 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great- grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
