

James Edward Casey passed from this life on August 5, 2011 in Pasadena, TX. He was born in Tyler, TX on November 13, 1940 to Brady and Nioma Casey. James joins “his only true love” wife of 49 years, Barbara Casey who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry Dale Casey. James is survived by his step-mother, Mary Casey; 2 sons, Ron Casey and wife Louann, Rick Casey and wife Jennifer; 1 daughter, Debra Sargent and husband Stacy; 6 grandchildren, Sean Edward Casey, Stephen Marshall Casey, Scott Anderson Casey and wife Amanda, Kaylynn Michelle Casey, Brandon Wayne Baker, and Casey James Quinn; 3 great grandchildren, Aidan Casey, Ava Casey, and Briana Baker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. James has been a resident of the Pasadena area for 43 years. James was employed by the Port of Houston, before becoming a full time Bingo Caller. He loved fishing with his good buddy and brother–in-law, Johnny. James will be deeply missed by those who cared for him.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. A private family interment will take place in Grand View Memorial Park.
